I listened to the audiobook version of this book and it was highly enjoyable! The narrators used different voices and accents for all the characters and that was extremely helpful in differentiating who was speaking.
The plot was so exciting and flowed so well that I just wanted to keep reading. I’m usually not a fan of detective crime novels but this one felt so different, because of the relationship between the detectives and the other characters. It felt more personal.
I kept trying to figure out the murderer the whole time but ended up not knowing until the very end. In my book, that means the story is fantastic if I didn’t figure out the ending. Fair warning: this story is very intense and has lots of triggers. They are listed below.
