The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
by Stieg Larsson
I finished this 800 page monster in two days. THAT is how good the final instalment of the Millennium trilogy is.
For me, it brought to a close everything perfectly. The cliffhanger we're left with at the end of #2 is dealt with swiftly and we soon find ourselves knee-deep in a whole conspiracy theory. I was enthralled. I physically couldn't bring myself to put the book down because I just had to know what happened.
Larsson blew me away with this one, the court room scene is *chef's kiss* - by far my favourite scene, potentially ever. And just the way the entire series challenges what we expect from a crime/thriller.
