3.5/5: i enjoyed this but it just didn't hit the same as late to the party :( i was just kinda bored the whole time & something felt missing. minor spoilers here but i did really like how this book emphasized growing into yourself and that even if you want to take a relationship forward you need to be at peace with the past and not have anything holding you back. tbh as i write this i know that this is going to be really forgettable so this might get lowered to a 3 star
