Hi hello yes I am here to tell you that I have devoured yet another masterpiece by S.J. Tilly. Sterling Black? The cinnamony-est grump to ever wear flannel. Courtney Kern? A curvy, badass, gentle soul who is learning to live instead of just survive. I LOVE THEM. 

My kindle notes say “okay Mountain Nero” because Mr. Black is a deeply obsessed lunatic for Courtney the moment he sets eyes on her. It’s absolutely hilarious watching him fight his feelings and justify his creep behavior. I also absolutely love how optimistic and strong Courtney is even though she has had a rough start at her new job, and has to deal with a very hot and confusing boss. I’d have been fighting for my life, but she starts to thrive. 

I was rooting for these two the whole time. It’s such a spicy, fun romp in the woods and I can’t wait to see the other Mountain Men in action 🪓🏔️
