You Had Me at Hola

Jasmine is finally a Leading Lady, but as she is being hounded by the tabloids following a dismal breakup, she doesn't feel like one. Luckily she has her adoring cousins Ava and Michelle to talk her up and make her feel better as she prepares to embark on a new series where she is the star. At the last minute her costar and love interest is replaced with THE Ashton Suarez, a Puerto Rican heartthrob and veteran telenovela star who is hoping to transition into more roles in front of English-speaking audiences and catapult his career into Hollywood films. He's her abuela's favorite actor but she won't be intimidated. Channeling her character Carmen, who, per the series title is very much in charge, she will emulate the Leading Lady she aspires to be. And yet, at the first table read, when first Ashton meets Jasmine by bumping into her and spilling iced coffee all over her, and then after makes a mad dash away to his dressing room, she realizes that making a believable connection on film with Ashton might be harder than she thought.
With the help of a stellar crew, which includes an intimacy coordinator, like a dance choreographer but for physical moves of a more delicate kind, it isn't long before sparks are flying between the pair. But that's only because after their first kissing scene requires over a dozen takes to get anything good, she pushes him to give over some of his free time to run lines and get to know each other. They're both determined to keep their relationship professional since they've both been burned by dating colleagues in the past, but when rumors are published about a behind-the-scenes tryst, they assure the public they are in fact just becoming good friends. But how long will that remain true??
What ensues is totally hot.
