Alyssa is in a near-divorce with her husband Bill when he leaves her. Baffled, she goes to a hotel bar and meets the down-on-her-luck Bree who she befriends and invites to stay in the guest house. They soon become fast friends and then, the FBI comes. Bill is in money trouble and they want her to help nab him .

I felt so bad for Alyssa in this book.  I knew she didn't know what her soon to be ex was doing, but I also thought that she was too trusting of Bree. I couldn't figure her out. Then Dez comes too easily in the picture and I couldn't trust him either. There were so many twists at the end and it was a very satisfying conclusion for me!
