I really enjoyed the books setting, it's like a camp 80s neon cyberpunk dream.
I liked the setting much more than the books story I felt it went on a lot longer than I would have liked and honestly it really didn't pick up until over halfway through and the ending felt really rushed.
I didn't hate the characters however Teama who you spend most of the book with got on my nerves by the end with her lack of self belief and it was just a bit grating as we are continually being told how amazing her meditation in childhood makes her at brainloading information.
Queer representation though so that was a nice added bonus.
