Overall, I enjoyed this book. I gave it only 4 stars because the ending felt very rushed. I read it on my kobo so I’m not exactly how many pages are in the book but the last quarter was just super rushed in my opinion.

I did not like Iker from the beginning and wanted to literally strangle him 😂😂 Every time him and Evie kissed, I was internally cringing.

Annemette was a well rounded character and I found it funny how Evie could not break her into seeing that she’s really Anna.

I do wish though that Annemette did kill Iker like she was aiming for honestly. The King was barely even talked about but he should’ve lived.

I did like the epilogue a lot.

I really enjoyed this universe and spin off of the little mermaid. Highly recommend for sure.
