paddlefoot55 's review for:
Rebel Heart
by Penelope Ward, Vi Keeland
ARC received for an honest review
Wah! I have been waiting for Rebel Heart since the nanosecond I finished Rebel Heir, and Vi an Penelope certainly did not disappoint with this second installment of the Rush Duet.
I had a love/hate relationship with this book - I loved Gia and Rush, I hated things that Rush did. I loved them together, I hated all the crap they needed to go through. I loved Rush's mum/Gia's dad, I hate hate hated the rest of Rush's family.
Gah, this book frustrated me as much as I adored it.
There are so many hoops that our lovelies now need to jump through to find their HEA, and as much as I wanted to throw my kindle across the room at times, I couldn't wait to turn each page to find out what happens next.
I ran the full gamut of emotions with Rebel Heart - and in the end, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. They storyline took the only course it really could have realistically taken - not matter how much I didn't want it to.
From the minute I opened up Rebel Heart, I was hooked and couldn't put it down.
Now that I have survived the rollercoaster that is the Rush Duet, I can't wait to see what these lovely ladies bring us next.
