Maisy's Animals: A First Words Book
by Lucy Cousins
In this sweet board book, Maisy travels all over the world and interacts with animals in different places. The only text is labels for each type of animal, but the drawings show Maisy riding a camel in the desert, dogsledding with a husky in the Arctic, swimming with fish in the ocean, and feeding chickens on the farm, and putting out catfood for her kitty at home.
The board book is sturdy, perfect for little baby hands. The design of the pages has a little tab that sticks out for each type of location, showing a preview of one of the animals featured on that page.
I love the crayon art style and how simple the artwork is. It's just right for little toddlers, with lots of bright colors to capture their attention. This whole book is so cute!
