I'm still learning about my tastes when it comes to romance, but I do think I have to throw in the towel soon regarding the hate to love trope. The ones I've tried have just felt over the top and unrealistic. Which is the case here, unfortunately.

This book was drama on every single page with the relationship and life experiences, so if you like that, I think you'll really love this.

The writing is really good, the characters individually are OK, and the college setting was a lot of fun to read about. The relationships (friendships and romantic) felt dynamic at times, but then really one dimensional at other times, so I dunno.

I'm flipping between a 2 and 3 star, but I think I'll stay with a 3. I know that this wasn't for me, but I'm definitely interested in looking into this author's other work, because I did like the writing, and I think if I can find a trope I really like from this author, that that book would be a 4-5 star one.
