The Conductors

I feel like I don't have a ton to say about this book, it really wasn't my cup of tea.
I found the magic system incredibly intriguing and wanted to know so much more about it, as well as the fact I'm a sucker for Historical Fiction and the trope of "Marriage of Convenience to Genuine Love".
Honestly the part that I couldn't really find interest in was the actual Murder Mystery. I just couldn't bring myself to honestly care about it, it felt like the mission you slog through because you enjoy the characters and want to help them.
I am not sure I will continue with this series further just because the plot point that would have kept me reading was resolved at the end of this book.
