Okay, not that the SPOILER WARNING is over with, I shall share my opinion!

I thought Divergent was ingenious. It was a incredibly compelling book that I found myself recommending to EVERYONE! It didn't have the type of long-lasting impression on me that works such as Hunger Games and Harry Potter did, but definitely a series I wanted to finish!

To be frank, Insurgent was a disappointment. I found that it became more about Fourtris than about the really great plot line full of evil characters and great characters that didn't get enough attention. I finished Insurgent the night Allegiant came out so the hype had me buy the third installment before I'd finished the second.

On to Allegiant!
I thought this book was SO much better than Insurgent and I was really impressed with the world building and the plot. I liked that there was enough Fourtris to satisfy the part of me that lives a good Chick-Lit, and that the plot took precedence! It really made me happy that I finished the series! The reason I gave it 3 stars is that I'm not the greatest fan of Roth's writing. At times I think her writing feels like she is trying to hard, but I think I'll definitely read her future stories!

I also wasn't particularly heartbroken by Tris's death which I thought should have affected me more. However, reading through Tobias' grief was difficult because I couldn't see through my tears.

I think it was a really, really decent series and I think I would recommend it!
