I have a lot of conflicted feelings about this book. Mental illness and toxic relationships were the main themes but the way plot devices were “hidden” in this book annoyed me greatly and bothered me a lot until it was revealed. There were some twists that surprised me but explained the “random” facts mentioned or harped on in the book but overall it was very long for something that easily could have been 75 pages shorter and I was reading an ARC over the final published book. I would read another Sally Hepworth but I don’t know that I would call this book a thriller at all.
