Um, okay, lol.
I just wanted to try this book, see what the fuss was about, and it came out how I expected.
Story wise, this is an okay book. But y’all aren’t reading it for the story.
This book is dark, which we know.
It’s challenging. But it’s also surprising.
The characters are surprisingly lovable. Kenzo was especially unexpected.
And I liked Garrett and diesel as well. I wasn’t expecting that.
The main problem I had is the continuity.
When she first wakes up in the penthouse, she already knows all about them. How?
Then there’s the mysteriously missing injuries and piercings.
And the spelling as well. Ass and arse.
Let’s be honest, we’re not reading this for the story, but I will say it’s surprising so it might be to you too.
