I'm going to start out by saying I liked it well which but not in love with it.
I really liked the idea in it that January and Gus, seeming rivals in school and as authors, each try and write about what the other does. I really liked that they helped each other "research" in order to write something they aren't used to.
I like January's friend Shadi and wished we got to see more of her.
I wanted even more from the romance between Gus and January... It just felt sort of my expectations I had been hearing about. I actually wish we had got to see the books being handed off to their agents and see the reaction from that.
