To me, the mark of a perfect children's book is the illustrations in it. Bible: Stories from the Old Testament was successful in reaching that pinnacle. The vibrant and multihued illustrations of these holy stories had me drooling and I am actually considering putting the first illustration in the book as a poster on my bedroom wall. Yes. They're that good. My favourite story from the Old Testament has always been 'Moses and the Red Sea' because according to me, it's one of the most unique and outside-the-box stories that the world possesses in its book of literature. Apart from that, the language is very easy to understand and it serves as a good first-time introduction for teeny tots who are looking to get into the world of the Holy Bible.
