1984 is set in a dystopian society where the Party and Big Brother control everything. In this society, there is perpetual war, memories are altered, and there is always a "deficiency" of luxuries and goods.

The idea and plot of this book is amazing, and like I said before, "The story is both exciting and haunting."

This was harder to read the second time, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I read this book for school (I was planning of reading it recreationally), and it was one of my favorite "school" books. The story is both exciting and haunting.
