This is a pretty good story about how Doric came to be the druid we know her to be in the movie Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. It also explains her shifting into an owlbear, which is not something druids can normally do. I also liked that it addressed the way people feel about tieflings, which I think is a good thing to explore.
