Good Omens
by Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman
Reflecting back on it, I think this book hit me at such a strange time. I watched the TV series adaption first, so my expectations for the book were... weirdly high? I liked the book just fine. I thought the writing was witty and entertaining. And even though I didn't like the witch character and the children as much as our two main characters, they didn't annoy me that badly. But there's something about it that just left me... wanting... and I don't know what it is.
Honestly, I think even now I would read a whole book of just Crowley/Aziraphale misadventures.
