this was okay, but it kinda lacked the magic for me

I liked how shamelessly bisexual Apollo was, and there were many, many mentions of this throughout the book - although the main one is a pretty tragic love story that did NOT end well, so ehhh

I also appreciated the tragic story with his son and how he realised that maybe he fucked up a little too

overall, Apollo's character was neat. there was an elderly F/F couple with an adopted daughter, which was also neat.

there are some questions I still want answered but I kinda don't want to read the next book so we'll see
