Just wow.


Nicki Pau Preto creates a beautiful story with such a rich history that it’s easy to get sucked in from the start. The alternating chapters and flashbacks into history through written letters & historic documents are executed extremely well. I especially appreciate the Timeline & Glossary in the back!

And let’s talk about that ending?! I did not see that coming!


Ugh. I loved this story and cannot wait to see what happens next.
