Murder Road by Simone St. James
3.5

very solid ghost story. still terrified of ghosts. will prob read the author's other books I have on my shelf though. I enjoyed the other one I've read, the sun down motel, more. the characters are forgettable, but aren't most thriller characters forgettable

I am a little disappointed in the twist. Eddie being the lost girl's son. I honestly would have vibed with the story line of Eddie and April not knowing each other and being brought together by the ghost (since that was briefly hinted at), but I was fine with the ending. I wanted a bit more closure from the cop Quinten like more bodies discovered before the end and/or more on brain cancer/tumor connection, but overall I think it ended fine.

it was fast-paced and kept my attention for sure.
