Yay I finally finished! I don't know why but non fiction books always seem to take longer for me to read. I think it's because the language is so different from fiction that I have to slow down to take it all in.
That being said, you need to read this book slow, take in all the information given to you. So much happened that shaped life today it's crazy! You'll recognize so many names and products, it's insane! And the story itself is so interesting. I have always been fascinated by serial killers and H.H. Holmes is one of the most notorious serial killers the United States has seen. And the World Fair, how it all came together, what went on there, was really cool to read about as well.
Overall it was a very cool book to read. It was very interesting and informative about two things I didn't really know much about.
