The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson
5.0

The Kind Worth Killing had me interested from the title alone. It focuses on Lily and Ted, who meet by chance on a night flight from London to Boston. Ted ends up discussing his wife’s affair with Lily and he says he could just kill her for what she’s done. Lily casually replies that she could help him with that.

As a web of connections slowly reveals itself, all of the twists in this book took me by surprise. I am easily surprised by thrillers, not gonna lie, but this book was absolutely...thrilling. Seriously, couldn’t put it down! This book had insightful observations of people, mysterious characters, and a fast-paced plot that is interwoven with flashbacks to the very beginning. I felt like I was watching a power struggle between four chess pieces, all intent on coming out on top. If you like twisty books with a gorgeous background of misty coastal New England, I recommend The Kind Worth Killing.
