Heartbreakingly cruel and honest representation of the bullying that happens to overweight girls. So many personal emotions came flooding back from my painful adolescent years of being bullied. I will be putting multiple copies of this book in my library because I have a feeling that the amazing counselor Ellie has in the book will be helping others find their voice. Part of me wishes I had had this book 30+ years ago, but I am very thankful that as an adult I found a counselor to help me with my anxiety and voicing my needs and emotions.
