A fast paced, completely consuming read. Two women that don’t know each other. Both in desperate situations. A chance rendezvous provides the women an opportunity to trade places and escape looming danger. The improbability of the details are easily overlooked as you become immersed in these strong, albeit flawed, female characters that you can’t help but root for. The parallel plot structure is well orchestrated and keeps you hanging on for “just one more chapter” until you’ve devoured the book in it’s entirety.
