I have read two books of a different Victoria Hamilton series and they sucked! I enjoyed this book a lot though! I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that even if there were a billion characters, I was somewhat able to keep them straight. There were not that many unnecessary storylines, and the story made sense! Obviously she still uses a lot of words over and over and over and over again. Her characters ask a billion questions one after another, but it was FINE! I will read the next one. I would even go as far as saying it was slightly above average!
