A fantastic start to the series that makes me want to visit Mannix Estate.

I am a huge fan of this author and her story telling ability and once again Louisa Masters has given us a well crafted read with a perfect balance of romance, spooky mystery and a fantastic cast of characters - human and ghost!

I love Josh and Ewan, they are so sweet together with lots of witty banter and sizzling chemistry that adds to the heat. They also can be so adorably awkward which had me giggling and sighing “awww”. As an added bonus they are also hilarious when under the influence of bourbon.

The staff at Mannix Estate and their resident group of ghosts really are a family. They may bicker, embarrass and tease each other but they all come together to assist Josh in solving the spooky mystery. During all of this Josh and Ewan rush toward their HEA without any major dramas, or ghosts, attempting to derail them.

This is such a fun, enjoyable read that had me hooked from the very beginning and I can’t wait to see where the series takes us. Highly recommended!
