I remember why I enjoyed this book! The pun game is strong with this one. There's so many jokes and lots of banter and twists on our slang that are heavily influenced by fairytales. There are so many stories referenced in here!

It reminds me of Shrek. It's definitely YA but on the more middle grade end of the spectrum but there are some pretty adult jokes and references. I laughed almost every time Hydra spoke.

It's definitely not a flawlessly written book but it's a light funny corky read.

Really excited to pick up the sequel this week!
