by Christina Lauren

I really needed this to break up all of my fantasy. Real life has also been a bit dark lately and I needed something to escape to & this was perfect.
I really enjoyed Hazel and her quirkiness! She really reminded me of Jessica Day from New Girl. I miss that show! Anyways, she was a lot of fun to read. I really liked that after a bad relationship, she realizes what she’s worth and will not take crap from any man.
I think one of my favorite things about this book was Josh’s Korean family! I loved them all so much and how they interacted. What I would give to have a MIL like that!
The relationship between Josh and Hazel was a lot of fun. I loved the banter and I really love how intense their relationship becomes. The dates that they set up for each other were entertaining because they never paid attention to the dates. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the ending. It just seemed a bit strange.
This is my second Christina Lauren book and I’m a fan. I don’t think it’s as good as The Unhoneymooners but still adorable! I really enjoyed my time with it and it was just what I needed.
