The Two Gentlemen of Verona
by William Shakespeare
Well that was horrible. But also hilarious. Crab was my favorite though he didn’t get nearly enough page time, and Launce was a close second. I also really liked Speed. Those two interacting was hilarious. I didn’t like the ending—just felt to shallow to me, but it’s probably meant to be a shallow sort of romantic comedy and is likely better appreciated on stage. I do have a note card of witty remarks, though, so the day is not without gain.
