I Am Ozzy by Ozzy Osbourne
5.0

I really, really enjoyed this book. Like most of the biographies I read, I know very little about the life of the subject - I usually just pick up the book because there's a hype around it or it seems like it would be an interesting tale.

Well, "interesting tale" is DEFINITELY what you get out of [b:I Am Ozzy|6952423|I Am Ozzy|Ozzy Osbourne|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1275674178s/6952423.jpg|7187129] - it reads like a fiction novel. Everything sounds so intense and scripted, it barely sounds like it could be a real life. Whether he exaggerates events or not, I couldn't say; but either way, this is a great read.

There are also some actual laugh out loud moments, too, which I didn't exactly expect!

I'd really known only the highly-publicized things about Ozzy Osbourne - the drug use, the bat-head-biting, etc. It's really interesting to read about these types of things straight from the person it happened to, and learn, for example, that when it comes to biting the head off a bat... it was actually a complete accident.
