If you want a fantasy book that spans across different and well-developed worlds with two kick-ass main characters and a fantastic plot, then look no further. A Darker Shade of Magic took my expectations and just soared past them to deliver a very well-rounded book that made its way into my favourites the second Lila Bard made her appearance.
