Overall, I think this book is good, but also, overhyped. If you like fast-paced, plot-driven books, this is right up your alley. However, I desire more connection to characters, and I only felt connected to the main character Finlay because I happen to be a mom, too. I do very much appreciate the pacing and thought that was well done, in addition, the first sentence of the book is one of the funniest I've ever read. Even with the cliffhanger, I personally, have no desire to pick up the second book. This book is perfect if you're a fan of the TV show Good Girls.
