Wowsers. I absolutely adored this book.
The plot is obviously something I've read many times before, but I was completely enamoured with the men in the story and I found the mc's  backstory really made her current situation believable.
I sometimes get annoyed by characters naive nature, but her lack of experience and insecurity made total sense.

The traumatic events of her life have obviously affected her and you saw the results of it, but they weren't the only focus, she was a fully fleshed out character, she was in no way a cardboard cut out. Like Shrek, she has layers and I appreciated that.

The 4 men filled their roles well. You had the sullen one, the joker, the friendly one and the douche. They all had moments to shine within the book. They also had pretty decent backstories.

Overall I feel like the story had a lot of depth, it had that special something that made it stand out of the crowd.
I immediately downloaded book 2, but I'm super nervous and haven't started it yet. I know how I want it to go, I also know how I think its going to go and after such a strong first book, I'm worried it won't live up to it.

Fun stuff:
Fake dating, reverse harem, secret identities, fluid mfm scenes, baking (I think I need to learn how to bake)

Trigger Warnings: I don't really think there is anything to watch out for in this one except for loss of a parent.
