Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
5.0

I have had this book on my bookshelf for months now, and I was really trying to find the right time when I was in the right mindset to read it. Because I've watched the Netflix Series, and heard what other people have said about it so I knew before I started it wasn't going to be an easy read.
And it wasn't.
It took me a while to read it because I had to stop and put it down every couple of pages, just to try to get my head together.
I mean the book brings up so many tough topics, so many tough topics that shouldn't be ignored they should be talked about more.
Apart from the book being about some dark subject matter, it was actually a really good read.
If wasn't so dark I probably would have been glued to it.
That was the problem, I needed to put it down to let my head settle. But you want to keep reading because you want to know what happens next.
So overall I really enjoyed it, and I'd most likely read it again, and again.
