Take away all the biblical stories which are not my cup of tea to begin with, I just couldn't get into it. There was just too much jumping around and you spent most of the book waiting for him to find his deceased daughter and then poof, she just happens to live. This was a B&N Friday Freebie, you get what you pay for. I can't recommend this one though unless you're into semi nonfiction pieces based on bible stories. Potential was there to be a good story but it just failed. Too many characters, that just came in and disappeared without much warning. And you never find out what happens with him and his daughter once they make it back to present day.
