Dreamland with Mommy (Yousuf's Everyday Adventures, #1)
by Dana Salim
In general I really liked this story. There are some things that bug me. The main thing is that only sections rhyme. I would have thought it was a mistake, but it happens too frequently, mostly when mom is “talking”. But it doesn’t always happen when mom is “talking” and sometimes it happens in random background. Either make the entire thing rhyme, none of it rhyme, or have a clear dividing line of the rhyme. I really like how at the very back of the book they have a small info bit about the Qur’an. Nothing religious, just that Chapter 29 is titled the Qur’an and a little info about that chapter. It’s well placed and well done.
