Better Late Than Never
by Ghiselle St. James
Better Late Than Never is an angsty, slow burn which I absolutely love. However, there was just something about this story that I was struggling to connect with while reading.
Savi and Kyle have been best friends for years and I loved their initial meeting. Of course, over time more feelings began to develop but the timing just never seemed right for the two of them to explore their feelings towards one another. I loved both of these characters in the beginning, but the more their story continued the less I started to like them. Kyle seemed to steal the sunshine from Savi and she almost felt like a shell of herself, especially when she started out as such a strong character.
Savi and Kyle did have chemistry and a great connection with each other. I wanted to through my kindle across the room so many times because their story just frustrated me.
If you like angsty, slow burn friends to lovers romances then check this one out.
