This book series is so damn strange, like the Chainsaw Man effect is real but I'm all about it. A lot of stuff seems to happen "off screen" in these books but for some reason I'm not bothered by it, in fact it's kind of fun to feel like we keep meeting our main characters again and they're different every time.

Similar to his earlier work there is times where I just have No Fucking Idea what is happening in the panels though overall I am enjoying the weirdo Choujin X experience.

Also making Tokio even taller and hunched over was 100% the right move

It is a shame maybe the funniest joke in the whole manga to me is hidden on the final page of the extras: "Kurohara, let's train your reflexes"
