This is not a book I enjoyed and its one I struggled to finish. While the characters were charming and it started off as a cosy read, I felt myself becoming bored and not wanting to pick it up. There was a lot of rambling and it seemed to go on a bit. I kept finding myself comparing this to The Thursday Murder Club (which I absolutely adored) and thinking that A Spoonful of Murder just did not tick any boxes for me!
