Miller makes herself vulnerable on every page of this book, but it's her vulnerability that makes her so inspiring. It's one of the best memoirs I've read and I learned so much more from it than I was expecting. The added layer of race, for me, was very important and created space for a conversation about something that is common, but too often invisible. I urge everyone to find time to read Miller's story.
