The Detective's Trust by K. Langston
3.0
Good, with issues
I liked the storyline of the book and the relationship between the hero and heroine was done well.
I had a few issues with the author's portrayal of diabetes. It may seem insignificant to some, but I didn't like that the author called one type of diabetes more serious than the other and I also think (as I understand her words that she got the 2 main types mixed up. There was also not much mention of the condition after the initial revelation. It is a condition that affects every day life, and if you are going to have a diabetic heroine I feel like it needs to be done right.
Having said all of this, I did like the rest of the book and I like the author's style of writing and other books.
