Prince of Thorns

3.25 stars!
I did really enjoy this and even bought the sequel yesterday just so I have it! I loved Jorg, he was so different from any other protagonist that I've read about. I liked his personality and cockiness. Makin was also a fave. The plot of the story didn't blow me away, it was exciting and I was curious what would happen next. I also loved the flashbacks we got. I still wanted more, and I was confused of some parts of it. That leads me to the next 'problem' I had. The writing. Hooooo. It did not speak to me. It wasn't bad or anything, I just had a hard time reading it. Maybe because English isn't my first language, or I just suck. I did like it sometimes, but other times it just left me confused. But it is the author's debut, so maybe the writing will change more to my liking!
I'm looking forward to continue with the series a lot, and I'm sure they will be even better than this one!
