Grief Is Love: Living with Loss by Marisa Renee Lee
5.0
emotional informative reflective slow-paced

I added this to my collection to have a book that I can continuously go back to when my grief sneaks up on me, and I am so unbelievably happy that I stumbled upon this book. It not only covers personal grief, but also grieving with a partner, and generational and racial grief (which I feel needs to be discussed a lot more in our turbulent social climate). This book doesn't try to drill a grief timeline into your head but teaches you how to live with your grief and validate that it'll never go away despite the rise of toxic positivity (which I fully admit I had tried during parts of my own grieving journey). This is absolutely a book that I will be recommending to people that are looking for some kind of relief in understanding their grief.
