Eve of Man
by Giovanna Fletcher, Tom Fletcher
Imagine a time when no more girls are born.
Imagine the fear that comes with knowing the human race is soon going to be extinct.
Now imagine the feeling when after 50 years, a girl is born.
Eve is that girl and she spends her whole life being raised to be the saviour of humankind. It’s her destiny, what she’s meant to do. Right?
Bram is her best friend. Except she knows him as Holly, the hologram that’s been with her nearly her entire life to keep her company.
Eve and Bram are a duo that you’re rooting for from the start. Practically cheering them on through each chapter. Truly wanting them to succeed.
Eve of Man is a really easygoing read. The chapter lengths aren’t too long and the POV switches between Eve and Bram giving you the story from two very different viewpoints.
The speed gradually picks up throughout the book and it’s a really nice pace.
I can only hope The Eve Illusion is just as good!
