Off the bat we're met with a little riled up MMC and a sassy FMC. The setup for the story was great - a girl's night goes wrong. However, I feel like there wasn't much character development or reasoning to why the characters were the way they were? Like why was Cupid SO livid after being shot? I'm also confused of the character's motives? Did Rose stick around because she needed to get her phone back (as that's what kept being reference)? Why couldn't she just get a new phone if she was so opposed as being around Cupid? There's also a part Isis texts Rose back but there was nothing written. I like that there's a part that sets you up to reading the next book to keep you wanting more to the story. The sexy scenes between Cupid and Rose were very hot and you could tell more thought went into writing that than the actual storyline/plot. Still a decent fast read but it reminded me of reading Alpha by Jasinda Wilder, where I didn't really understand what was happening but I was still here for the ride!
Minor: Stalking
