The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
4.0

"Good and evil are a great deal more complex than a princess and a dragon, or a wolf and a scarlet-clad little girl. And is not the dragon the hero of his own story? Is not the wolf simply acting as a wolf should act?"

I don't think I have the mental capacity to write a review this book deserves. The Night Circus is a book woven of layers of poetry, and sentences that are strung together with magic.

When I read The Starless Sea, I described it as, 'A book that's beautiful enough, whimsical enough, magical enough to allow you to remember why you fell in love with reading in the first place. It's a book created for readers. Created for people who breathe words, and lose themselves in their dreams and imagination.' However, I think The Night Circus is more than that (I know, wtf). The Night Circus is simply full of magic. It reminds you of the magic that can be found between the pages of a book, in a way, it reminded me of what it's like the be a child. To see the magic, beauty and wonder in everything.
