*exhale* okay so I did finish his book and I will definitely continue with the series (really just because I was gifted the whole series) but there were some problems that really bugged me. I've just seen this kind of book and story written before and done much better

I hate-hate-HATE when authors jump large periods of time and don't tell you what happens during it. I fell like I had to fill in a lot of empty time with my imagination. I also find it really frustrating when books don't explain the transition of emotions. how I read the book was that EO dies and a few days later Darren just goes on and just passingly mentions her.
